Affordable Housing, Regeneration and Procurement

As a housing association board member for longer than I care to remember I harbour an in-built scepticism to any form of governance training; that was until I experienced one of Bill’s sessions. It was highly relevant, punchy, complacency-busting and an uplifting mental workout. Very much to be recommended.

Bill is a highly experienced, enthusiastic and committed expert in development and project management. He is thorough, detailed and thoughtful. He provides excellent value for money and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Social Accounting and Audit

Social Enterprises and SMEs often add value to local communities in ways that are not easily recognized or demonstrated. Accounting for this can help you focus on what is effective and drive internal improvements, and also help inform stakeholders. Social Accounting and Audit provides a robust method to recognize value added and can be used for organizational development and in bidding for work.

Bill is a member of the Social Audit Network, an accredited Social Auditor and is able to assist in compiling Social Accounts.

Strategy and Policy Review

Including: Sustainability, Corporate and Social Responsibility, Environmental Improvement of stock and operations, Business Development. Can be delivered in a number of ways to suit the client

Alternative approaches to social regeneration

Social Regeneration can be fostered in several ways. Bill is a keen allotment holder and has worked with housing organisatons and community groups to develop community food growing projects, including identification, design and development, producing ‘grow guides’ and training materials, and delivering ‘hands on’ activity days to involve a range of residents in starting to ‘grow their own’ and develop the relationships and skills that go with it.

Bill is available for short or long commissions, and is able to supply excellent testimonials as to his areas of expertise.

Bill also tries to devote part of his time to ‘pro-bono’ work – assisting local groups with issues where he has expertise but where there may not be resources to pay. If you are in that position, please contact us and we will see if we can help!
